Resort '13

Stella McCartney’s 2013 Resort

Each season, Stella seems to come up with a more clever and innovative way to present her newest collection. This time, the candy colored plaids, crisp white separates and florals, models and guests were treated to a carnival themed garden party. Of course, no ordinary garden would do – this one just happened to be complete with lemonade stands, flower carts and a brass band. The collections at Stella just seem to be full of innovation and excitement that isn't forced.
Resort collections are becoming much more popular with fashionistas and not just those who can afford these lavish winter holidays which i love. Stella no doubt has a great style aesthetic, which I personally find so appealing, I absolutely love the leopard and floral pieces but what i really enjoy from this collection is the 'fluro reflection' flashes which are inspired by rainbow holographic hues that create powerful angles of psychedelic pops. I like their is alot more to be seen from these pearly reflective metallic within the fashion world.

What I love about this resort collection is you don't need to have a long haul destination in sight or a boat to wear this look. You might need to wear your shades when rocking one of the biggest trends from the resort shows this season. Bold, bright and neon hues first began appearing on runways in the Spring 2012 shows but have carried over into the 2013 resort collection.Whether you choose to go all out in a neon dress or accessorize with a holograhic inspired bag, this isn't a look to be missed.
