If my future husband is reading this then 'I Want to Visit this place.' Men need all the hints they can get! Shot on the Island of Zanzibar in East Africa, Vogue March 2011, this colourful editorial boasts some serious colour blocking. The Mario Testino shoot features model Karmen Pedaru alongside Jourdan Dunn who is actually amazing, but what I really love about this shoot is the breathtakingly dreamy backdrop of this Tanzanian Island. And believe it or not, it isn't just clever photoshopping skills. The restaurant in the backdrop actually exists... has to be on to-do-before-you-die list.

LARA JADE is my point of inspiration today. Born in England, currently adapting to the Big Apple lifestyle. An internationally acclaimed fashion, portrait and commercial photographer.
 What gets me about her pictures is the use of light and the ability to colour her images with strong elements of romanticism, fantasy and a hint of darkness. Lara is currently working worldwide and is represented by leading agencies in London, Milan & America. I can't wait to see more from her...

Religious Fact

Daisy 'Eau So Fresh' by Marc Jacobs is actually amazing! Marc’s new addition to his Daisy perfume collection captures the carefree essence of summer. Ok so I have been a religious Daisy fan since back in 2008 when 2 of my lovely friends purchased this for me, but i tell you I cant shake it off. It is for keeps. I even get the comment ' daisy reminds me so much of you' which personally i think is a frikkin great smell to have! Eau so Fresh was developed by Alberto Morillas, the fruity floral scent features notes of ruby red grapefruit, raspberry, green leaves, pear, violet, wild rose, apple blossom, lychee, jasmine, musk, plum and cedar.The ad campaign featuring Hannah Holman was shot by Juergen Teller reiterates the summer feeling the fragrance exudes.It's just so pretty and girly and perfect for a nice summer day! Dreamy....

Birdy at only 14 released this cover version of Bon Ivers song. Fearn CottonSocks spotted this gem on Radio1 as "Record of The Week". Birdy has covered the song "The A Team" by up and coming Brititsh artist Ed Sheeran.

Playing by the rules...

Remember all those things you used to hear about how to wear stripes? It seems there were a million rules and often they would oppose one another. You see trash magazine slating fearne cotton all day time... well... UP yours!! Take the rule book and burn it/ toss them straight out the window. As contrasting patterns and colors have become a thing of the moment and stripes are no different.

Photographer Andrew Yee and stylist Damian Foxe challenge the linear thinking of the past in this editorial spread. Looks FAB!! 

Blasts of stripes worn in every which way possible. From multi-toned to monochromatic multi-layers, the looks are gaspingly FEasty. Although each look is most certainly a bold statement, pieces are surprisingly wearable. I DARE YOU...

Time to blog... how very exciting. OK, I know the world of blogging may have turned into the land of a very ''I love my life as a dick head'' (''were having new age fun, with a vintage feel, never bought a pack of fags i only roll my own and plugging in my laptop at the starbucks down the road'') with a spoon of the silver variety phrase BUT fingers crossed I am not that person, check list...

I do not back brush my hair into a birds nest.

My aim here is to FEast you by using every creative bone within my body that represent fresh, new, exciting things.  I have been sitting here for approximately an hour squeezing my brain for inspiration, being very creative forward leaves me with a 'mild' perfection problems which makes my working day that little bit more difficult. Consider my blogging as a form of diary entires, how i feel that day.... I will share. Deal Done.
