Season Hair

Daniel Galvin has masterminded a new technique for applying colour to celebrate his 35 years in industry. FINGER PAINTING. A free-hand colour technique that doesn’t require foils or brushes. Your colourist will use their fingers to blend and smudge the colour from root to tip for an effortless look lifting the colour naturally found within your hair, giving you a colour that’s a few shades lighter, but the same tone as your own for a flattering, grown-out, sunkissed feel. Who wouldn't want to look effortlessly good. 

Pastel hues

As we look into Spring/Summer despite the current fowl weather, we are looking ahead into a new vibrant season and ways in which we can splash colour into current style. Add a pair of bright jeans to your CAPSULE WARDROBE. Capsule wardrobes are a whole other topic and quite frankly the hardest thing to achieve EVER. 

To introduce a hint of colour and freshen up your wardrobe with a pair of vibrantly hued jeans. Looks include acid brights, primary hues and bold neon tones throughout this season or for a softer approach, try pretty pastel coloured skinny jeans to make a subtle statement.

Just A Note of Self....Don't wonder around Hyde Park sipping Hot Chocolate in your Bluebell washed jeans. It's a recipe for disaster when you get freaked out my a bird and pour your whole boiling hot drink down your pastel pants....Fantastic Look.

I have been catching up with one of my all time favourites this long weekend EDINA AND PATSY. Sweetie Darlings. After the Christmas specials that entertained me over the festive season, I have been addicted to catching up with the rest of the series but it looks like we are going to see more of AB FABs most bold, brash and and downright 'FABULOUS' tastes making statement pieces in our S/S wardrobes. I certain friend always calls me 'plain jane' because of my obsession with pastels and plains. And a major obsession with wearing silk shirts. It has almost become part of my daily routine. Its not that I don't love bold, bright, heavy patterned ranges because I do... but this is such a example of how well i like being a 'plain jane' works...

Raf Simons for Jil Sander at MFW...Taking inspiration from the home, something thats comfortable yet potentially chaos, This collection is executed in a pale, romantic palette thats echoed in the flowers of the set. The delicate palette mixed with figure conscious silhouettes is nostalgic. Basically the point in what I am trying to make it, subtle decisions can sometimes be much more eye catching.
